Located on the Steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art (on the right side of the Rocky Stairs) - 2600 Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The Maryland Donkey is decorated with the state flag front and center and sitting on a dock are the state's famous blue crabs. Sitting on a white oak - the state tree, you will of course see a Baltimore Oriole - the state bird. On the back are portraits of Harriet Tubman and Fredrick Douglass both born on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. The Maryland Donkey has the best backgrounds between the Art Museum and the city skyline!

Fun Fact - We went to our first Flyball Tournament in Maryland and our lives haven't been the same since. When we aren't looking for donkey's around town you will find us with our dogs playing Flyball.
